I want to thank Glenn Beck for reminding me of Obama’s promise not to take vacations if he were elected President. I wonder how many others actually remember this?
After the horrific news about the beheading of journalist James Foley this week by the savages that call themselves the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS), Obama gave a speech saying the world was “appalled” by the beheading. “The United States of America will continue to do what we must do to protect our people. “We will be vigilant and we will be relentless.” If you want to hear his few-minute speech, you can hear it here.
Less than twenty minutes after his speech, Obama was back on the golf course.
Two things that I find appalling, are (1) could Obama be any more of a flatliner that he already is? A citizen of the United States is beheaded on camera for all the world to see and the President of the United States reads his speech as if he were reading the instructions on how to put together a piece of IKEA furniture and (2) how could he immediately go back to playing golf after discussing this atrocity?
It is truly mind boggling.
