photo get-your-priorities-straightAmerica is facing a whole lot of problems and the bozos in government don’t know how to set priorities.  For example, there are certain things that affect all of us as Americans.  Our almost 17,000,000,000,000.00 national debt, unemployment, the ever-rising welfare state, the IRS targeting select groups of citizens, the killing of four of our citizens in Benghazi, Hillary Clinton’s blasé response, “what does it matter?” when questioned about it, the “Fast and Furious” scandal, the NSA spying allegations, GSA employees spending tons of our money on vacations, waste of our tax dollars on Solyndra, Karma and the like, to name just a few.

Out on the left coast, California Gov. “Moonbeam” Jerry Brown recently signed into law AB 1266 which gives every pupil, from elementary to secondary schools, the right to use girls’ or boys’ bathrooms and locker rooms and join any athletic team or competition, irrespective of the gender listed on the pupil’s records.  Is this nuts or what?

With all the issues facing California right now, this is what the politicians in Sacramento think is a priority?  Really?  First of all, I’ve read the bill and there’s nothing in it that says parental consent is necessary or even requires a recommendation from the student’s physician, psychologist or psychiatrist.  If a girl thinks she’s a boy, that’s good enough.

So, let’s get down to the nitty-gritty.  If a boy thinks he’s a girl, he’s probably not using the urinal in the boys’ bathroom and pees sitting down in a stall.  Well, if he goes into the girls’ bathroom, he’s still peeing in a stall.  Likewise, if a girl thinks she’s a boy, she doesn’t have the apparatus to use a urinal so she’s still sitting in a stall to pee just like she did in the girls’ bathroom.  So what’s the point?

It doesn’t take a genius to foresee a bunch of 12-year old boys daring each other to use the girls’ bathroom.  How does a parent explain to their 1st grade daughter why a much-older boy is using the same bathroom?  I can’t even imagine the chaos involved with a girl showering in the boys’ locker room.

So, the entire school population throughout the state of California will now be disrupted because of a stupid law that could possibly only apply to a handful of students.  I don’t want to see any child abused or molested for any reason, but this, however, doesn’t make any sense to me.  Life isn’t fair and the sooner children learn this lesson, the better off they’ll be.

And back on the east coast, instead of focusing on some really important issues, what is the Obama administration doing in September?  It’s holding a “closed-door roundtable discussion” on issues facing bisexuals.  Really?  Is this what our administration should be spending even $1 on at this point?  And what’s all this about a “closed-door session.”  What does that mean?  I thought this administration was going to be the most transparent administration in American history.

With significant issues facing each and every one of our 316.5 million people, will a discussion of topics including “health, HIV/AIDS, domestic and intimate partner violence, mental health and bullying” be all that groundbreaking?  Haven’t we “been there, done that” already?  Haven’t we discussed these same topics ad nauseum as they apply to all Americans?  Why is bisexual D.V. any different from heterosexual D.V.?  Is “discussion” the same thing as a “conversation about race relations in America” because, if it is, it’s actually code for “let’s talk but do nothing about it.”

And, finally, we’re now asked to call Bradley [Manning] “Chelsea” because he wishes to live out the remainder of his life as a woman. I’m happy for him.  The weasel can rot in Leavenworth as far as I’m concerned as a woman or man.  I don’t care.  But I hope I won’t have to pay for “his” or “her” hormone therapy and sex change operation.

I don’t get it, but if you do, God bless you.
