Meet 82-year old Doris Thompson. Her criminal career spans almost six decades. Burglary seems to be her crime of choice and she’s been in prison at least nine times.
You’d think someone would learn their lesson after a life a crime. But not Doris. She was recently arrested for looting doctors’ offices in the Torrance, California area, and faces seven counts of burglary and attempted burglary. She took cash, checks, stamps and a plastic urine container. According to the district attorney, “she takes cash, stamps, whatever she can find. She’s not really apologetic about it. This is her thing.” She was identified in a video by a detective who’d dealt with her in the past.
Doris is certainly not apologetic about her wrongdoing. In fact, she blames all of us. Yes, that’s right. She’s blame the United States taxpayers.
She “wouldn’t do all this nonsense if the government gave us more money.”
Can you believe this? I’m not sure if she’s eligible to vote, but I’m sure hoping she’s not.
