I’m sure you’ve all heard of the big shindig at George Clooney’s house last night. Each of the 150 guests paid about $40,000 to be in the same room as their Messiah raising $15 million for the President’s re-election.
Now, I don’t care what any one does with their money. If they want to blow 40 grand to rub shoulders with the President and eat Peking Duck, that’s fine with me.
But I have on question.
Everyone knows about Mr. Obama’s battle cry of 2012: The rich don’t pay their fair share!
I’d like to know which one of the 150 guests has actually voluntarily sent extra money this year (or any year for that matter) to the federal government because they firmly believed, as Mr. Obama does, that they should pay more taxes.
