Look at this guy. He’s Peter Rettman. Doesn’t he look like he could be anyone’s grandfather? He probably is. But he’s also not a nice guy. Not because he’s a cross-dresser. I couldn’t care less. But because he crossed the line.
First of all, he’s reported to be a “renowned stockbroker” and University of Washington instructor (winning the Teaching Excellence Award for the 2010-11 school year) who recently pleaded guilty to indecent exposure and was put on probation and ordered into a year of treatment for repeatedly exposing himself to female employees at a Kent, WA department store.
This is what he did: He went to a Christopher and Banks clothing store and told the employees he had cancer and was attending a party that required him to dress as a woman. (I have no idea why having cancer would make a difference.) Anyway, he went into the changing room and tried on different outfits and then asked the employees how he looked. When they entered the dressing room, he was naked from the waist down. He tried on about twenty outfits, each leaving him naked from the waist down. (After once or twice, I would’ve figured out this guy’s game and thrown him out of the store.) By the way, he was accused of exposing himself to employees at an Auburn, WA maternity clothing store in 2004. I can’t even imagine what story he told those employees. And, he actually admitted to the police he had exposed himself “close to ten times” at other stores.
He said he “felt very bad about this” and “embarrassed by it.” Suits or dresses. I don’t care. This guy needs help.
