By this time, I really shouldn’t be surprised when I read about yet another waste of taxpayers’ money. But I am.
While our national debt has recently passed the $15 trillion mark, we continue to waste money on any number of ridiculous causes, programs AND countries!
Did you know that the U.S. government gave $18 million in foreign aid programs to its biggest lender – China? I didn’t.
Yes this $18 million includes $2.5 million for social services and about $4.4 million for programs to improve China’s environment!
Is someone telling us China doesn’t have enough money to care for its own people and its own environment?
