A few weeks ago, a group of “patriotic” millionaires appeared before Congress in an attempt to get tax rates raised on the wealthy. The Daily Caller interviewer gave them the opportunity to send additional money to the United States Treasury and, as you’ll see in the video, not one of them was willing to pay up. I really loved the first arrogant twit interviewed.
Each of us can check a box on our tax returns if we want to pay more. I think I already pay enough taxes and don’t want any increases – especially since the insatiable appetite of Congress is never satisfied and refuses to make any significant cuts in spending.
If these millionaires really want the tax rates raised, I don’t see why they just don’t send in additional money. Can you spell h-y-p-o-c-r-i-s-y?
