Well, it looks like another Obama-backed green company has gone belly up.
Beacon Power Corp., an energy- storage company that received $43 
million in backing from the U.S. program that supported failed solar-panel maker Solyndra LLC, filed for bankruptcy after struggling to raise private financing.
According to an Energey Department spokesman, the loan agreement contains “many protections for the taxpayer.”
Let’s see if we’re left out in the cold again.
