Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, N.C., have received $294,958.00 to study whether Integral Yoga “can be an effective method to reduce the frequency and/or severity of hot flashes” in menopausal women. “The goal of Integral Yoga, and the birthright of every individual, is to realize the spiritual unity behind all the diversities in the entire creation and to live harmoniously as members of one universal family.” A total of 60 post-menopausal women who experience more than seven hot flashes a day are being recruited to participate.
