From appearances on Letterman and American Idol to 10,000,000 followers on Twitter, Lady Gaga is just about everywhere. She’s cutting deals with Google, Polaroid, Sprint and Estee Lauder. She even had our State Department help arrange for her to do some gig in Italy. Right now, she’s hot and she’s cashing in on her celebrity. I have no problem with that. But, I don’t get why she needs to do something for “shock value” which is the only reason I can figure out why she would be developing a perfume for Coty which would smell like blood and semen. Those were the initial reports.
Well, I’m very happy to say that those rumors were quashed by the Lady herself on an Australian radio show – well, maybe. “The perfume smells like an expensive hooker,” she said. “I wanted to extract sort of the feeling and sense of blood and semen from molecular structures.” Using her own blood sample, she summed it all up by saying, “you get the after-feeling of sex from the semen and the blood as sort of primal.” It’s expected out in 2012.
I know what will be on my Christmas list for 2012.
