If you don’t believe evil exists, you might as well stop reading and continue to believe that gun control will cure all of society’s ills. I wrote about this at the time of the Sandy Hook shooting, and I’m writing again because the left doesn’t seem to get the point. Having worked as an attorney […]

Dear Wimp, uh, I mean Representative: Attorney General Eric Holder refused to turn over to the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee documents it requested, after saying he had already provided thousands of pages relating to the fiasco known as “Fast and Furious” during which one of our brave U.S. Border Patrol Agents, Brian Terry, […]

There isn’t anything I like about Sandra Fluke or the story surrounding her. Miss Fluke attends one of the country’s most prestigious law schools. She should know that forcing a religious organization or, for that matter, any employer with a religious conscience to provide birth control, as well as abortifacients, to their employees is a […]

I really wish this woman would just go away, but it just doesn’t seem to happen. Her uber-liberal constituents love her and keep voting her in. According to her recent statement, she’s hoping to get her Speaker of the House job back. God help us. Even though she helped burden us with Obamacare, she’s still […]

I’ve said it more than once – personal behavior has consequences on professional decisions. Here’s a perfect example. Sunland Park, New Mexico, Mayor Martin Resendiz, says he was drunk when he signed not one, not two, not three, but nine contracts with California architectural firm, Synthesis. In a $1 million lawsuit (monies I’m sure the […]

“It’s his private life; it has nothing to do with being President.” This was the mantra my liberal friends chanted when President Clinton was involved with Monica Lewinsky in our House – the White House. The choice to engage in risky behavior is a reflection on one’s character, on one’s ability to make decisions. My […]

I know I’ve said it a hundred times, but is Nancy Pelosi delusional or just plain stupid? The Tucson shootings by a mentally deranged gunman was a “tragic accident?”

I just couldn’t believe it when I read that Nancy Pelosi has “no regrets” and said, “deficit reduction has been a high priority for us, it is our mantra; pay as you go. Unfortunately, that will be changed now.” Neither Democrats nor Republicans believe in “pay as you go.” I say, “good riddance, Nancy.”

You don’t have to say everything you think. My husband has been telling me this for over twenty years. Looking back on 2010, I’m not the only one who should heed his advice. There’s a lot of dumb stuff being said out there. I’m sure you have your own picks for the dumbest. Some of […]

I’m really looking forward to Election Day because the possibility for real change for a better America is within reach. (By the way, how’s Obama’s hope-y, change-y thing working out for you?) I’m still stunned he won 53% of the vote when only about 20% of the people in this country call themselves liberal. Despite […]
